I don%26#039;t watch any of those or like them nor do I hate them - I just don%26#039;t care about them. However we allow boxing, cage fighting (humans), free style fighting such as K1 etc where you see blood all over the place but we don%26#039;t allow animal fighting. Why%26#039;s that?|||Humans have free will, they can choose how to earn a living. Boxing is just *one* option.
Some breeds were originally bred to be canine aggressive, but that is not the issue. Dog fighting is a sickening spectacle %26amp; those who participate in it, deserve to be prosecuted.|||Humans have the choice whether to box or not.
Dogs for fighting are bred to fight and know no better - especially when they are encouraged by people. Dogs are forced into the ring wheras people are not.
Anyway, dog fighting means teeth and biting and tearing of flesh, whereas boxing has men punching each other wearing padded gloves.
Also, dogs don%26#039;t wear big boxing gloves on their paws, nor do they wear any protective gear over their mouths. Dogs can inflicting devating wounds on each other very easily.|||Boxing is a choice that human%26#039;s make to beat each other up. Dog fighting is a cruel, evil practice that raises dogs to be killing machines for the pure purpose of entertaining sick people.
Dog fighting training starts when the dog is a puppy. The dog is tormented day after day with other dogs that are allowed to attack them to train the dog to be vicious. People wildly abuse the dogs, they pit the dogs against each other even in training and they keep them in completely maniacal conditions. They often keep small defenseless dogs as well to train the dog fighters to kill. These small dogs are beaten and then chained to the wall while other dogs that are provoked are allowed to attack, maim, and kill them for training.
The dog fight itself is also much more disgusting and disturbing than a boxing match ever could be. The dogs are rattled, scared out of their wits, and then released into a pen where they are up against another dog who was raised the same way. The dogs then are provoked to attack each other by their handlers until one of the dogs either kills the other or mortally wounds them. Dogs that lose in fights are often ceremoniously killed in twisted ways like beheading, hanging, dismemberment, etc. for the entertainment of the viewers.
The poor dogs live lives of constant violence and fear until there is no scrap of dignity or kindness in them. Even after being rescued from dog fighting rings, dogs involved in fighting or training usually are euthanized because they will never be able to return to the dog-like state they were intended to live in at birth. Its a sick murderous practice that in no way shape or form resembles competitive fighting sports.|||Because it%26#039;s stupid people who volunteer to get beat up and to beat someone else up. I wouldn%26#039;t mind if it was outlawed, but I%26#039;m not bothered by it. If people are willing to mar themselves, fine whatever.
However in the case of dogfighting, it%26#039;s stupid people, raising aggressive dogs, and having them fight often to the death. It%26#039;s the people forcing the dogs to mar and bloody each other by raising them to be so aggressive. The dogs don%26#039;t volunteer for it. And in addition, the people who do that, don%26#039;t even really care about the dogs so they don%26#039;t receive proper medical attention to their often horrible wounds.|||A couple of hundred years of SELECTIVE BREEDING has produced dogs that LOVE TO FIGHT!
Dogs are NOT %26quot;forced%26quot; to fight-if they don%26#039;t WANT to,they won%26#039;t %26amp; are CULLED!
They are NOT %26quot;trained%26quot; to fight...they are ALLOWED %26amp; ENCOURAGED.

That said ,to refute the ignorant AR-brainwashed spouting....dog-fighting is illegal more due to the LOST REVENUE (taxes %26amp; fees) %26amp; the peripheral activities -drugs %26amp; gambling etc.,than the gov%26#039;t. %26quot;caring%26quot; about poor wittle doggy-woggies.|||Because boxers have the choice to fight or not, and can stop the fight when ever without being killed. Boxers have a choice. They can choose whether or not to fight.
Dogs don%26#039;t. There forced into the ring.|||People can choose to fight, or any other physical sport that can cause bleeding and broken bones. Dogfighting would only happen if humans brought up their dogs badly.
