What film or films, in your opinion, had the most realistic boxing scenes?

There have been plenty of movies featuring boxing, some with ridiculous boxing scenes, some with descent scenes. Which do you think had the closest to true life boxing? Which were the most ridiculous?|||It was looney tunes. When Bugs Bunny fought that giant muscle man. Sorry elmer just making a joke!|||I think the problem here is that realistic boxing doesn%26#039;t make good viewing for film goers. People in the cinema want to see a slug fest if they watch a boxing movie, blocking, clinching, bobbing and weaving doesn%26#039;t get the blood pumping, despite these aspects being part and parcel of the game.

Me and you might be saying %26quot;this is ridiculously unrealistic%26quot; but it appeals to the wider audience. Based on this, i%26#039;m of the opinion that all boxing films are as bad as each other to a degree as they are trying to appeal to the wider audience, not the 1% of the audience who may be real boxing fans. I think it%26#039;s rather naive to expect to see realistic fights in movies. I%26#039;m not calling you naive as i suspect you are of a similar opinion, at least in this instance.

To answer your question, i couldn%26#039;t name %26quot;most realistic%26quot;. However, i think any of the Rocky films take the dubious title of %26quot;most unrealistic%26quot;. I base this on the fact that every single shot thrown, by either fighter, lands clean!|||The problem you are having is having real life experience, when you do boxing and then watch actors %26quot;act%26quot; it out, every mistake is blantantly obivious. It could be compared to a Physicist watching a cheesy science fiction movie with a guy blowing a black hole out of his butt. Back to the issue, I would say that Million Dollar Baby had very good/realistic boxing scenes. My pick goes to Million Dollar Baby.|||Cinderella Man had some good and realistic boxing scenes. The Rocky movies, as much as i like them, their boxing scenes are a joke, especially Rocky 3 and 5.

Raging Bull had good fight scenes, as did Million Dollar Baby.

If i had to choose just one i%26#039;d go with Cinderella Man. |||Million Dollar Baby show more realistic boxing scenes given I am not a fan of women boxing but it was good.|||Cinderella Man The BEST all time boxing movie|||snake eyes!

jk,

ide have to say none
