Are there any notorious Scottish or Irish boxing styles?

Also can someone tell me what degree of notoriety that the two(Ireland/Scotland) have in boxing. Or is it just that a lot of boxers flourished from that region back in the day making the sport more popular, embracing the sport as part of their heritage. There was a Tom Cruise film where he portrayed an Irish boxer and I just wondered about how much influence there was/is that the Irish and Scotch have in the history of boxing.|||Watch Jack Dempsey, Mick Ward, Gerry Cooney, James J Braddock, and Gene Tunney for Irish styles. A lot of great boxers were Irish

The only good Scottish boxer I know was Ken Buchanan who fought Roberto Duran.

There has been evidence that Muhammad Ali had Irish heritage.
