At what age can i start my child in boxing classes?

my son is 4 and i would like to get him in boxing but i dont know how old he has to be and if her in phoenix, arizona they offer classes for him. someone please help me! thanx!|||When he is old enough to choose whatever sport he is interested in, soccer, baseball, whatever.|||the age to start is usually 10|||When your son comes to you and says, %26quot;I want to box.%26quot; No later, no sooner. Don%26#039;t force your kids into sports, or, like me, you%26#039;ll waste lots of money on sports your kid is not interested in, like soccer, basketball, football, etc.|||That will vary from gym to gym. Typically, boxing gyms won%26#039;t allow a child to start nearly as early as a martial arts school. Many martial arts schools start taking students around the age of 4 or 5. You could always start him with something like that, see if your son likes it, and give him a head start. Then, when he%26#039;s old enough, he can start boxing. He%26#039;ll learn how to punch in the martial arts class, and it would be a fairly easy transition. Just make sure that your son really wants to do this. Good luck!|||Before you put your child anywhere near a boxing ring, you must first honestly ask yourself if you%26#039;re really ready for this sport. see, you have to learn boxing before he does (so to speak). to get him involved, you must have some understanding outside of a fan. get some boxing tapes ( such as greatest knockouts and basics videos) as soon as you catch him imitating any boxing moves, then you know he%26#039;s ready.
