Who has the longest professional boxing career record?

I was looking up some career records and couldnt help but notice how long some of these guys have been boxing. Eric Morales has been fighting for 14 years and Antonio Barrera has been fighting for 18. This very impressive to say the least and shows miraculous health and stamina. What do you guys think?|||I think you%26#039;ll fin it interesting that Roberto Duran fought from 1967 until 2001. That%26#039;s 34 years. The only thing that stopped him from ever boxing again was that car crash. He had an automobile accident and was disabled from fighting again. If he didn%26#039;t suffer that accident, I think he would still be fighting right now. Duran has had an amzing career in six different weight classes from lightweight to super middleweight.|||willie pep and archie moore.|||Archie Moore does have the most KO%26#039;s but certainly not the most fights. He had over 200 though, http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?...

and i disagree that willie pep had the most fights, 241

He boxed from 1940 to 1966. That%26#039;s 26 years.

He retired with a professional record of 229-11-1(65).

The first answer is correct, it is Roberto Duran. Willie Pep holds the distinction of having fought more fights than any boxer in history.

Archie Moore fought for just shy of 28 years.

Willie Pep was the world champion that had the most fights. I stand corrected.
