Boxing..............?

i bought a 70lb heavy bag, with boxing gloves also... i will not be boxing in the future will this still be good training for my life? like what does it build up and train? |||Yes my friend, it%26#039;ll be fantastic training for your life.

You%26#039;ll be able to work on your punching technique in case you ever get into a scuffle, you%26#039;ll be able to build up stamina and you%26#039;ll get stronger arms as well. Also it%26#039;s a fantastic way to relieve stress, which is an extremely healthy thing to do.

I used to be an amature boxer but I gave that up, I still use my bag about 4-6 times a week.

Enjoy the bag bro!|||yea it will. Depends on how to work out. You can punch with speed and it will be cardio [plus it will be working your shoulders and forearms when u punch]

or you can just punch hard and work out your shoulders and stuff

and since you don%26#039;t really want to box..you can even kick the heavy bag and work out your legs and so on|||Hitting the bag will increase your aerobic endurance and you should get some one to show you the right way to punch, which will cut down on hand problems. As for life, my thoughts on that is %26quot;yes%26quot;. You wil learn and understand about physical limits,self-discipline.Learn how to control your anger, and you will or should understand not having too fight.|||Well boxing will build up your arms and legs. As long as you move as you punch. Jump rope is a really good cardio workout so i would invest in one. Joining a gym or getting some weights and running is better than just beating a punching bag.|||It will build stamina and strength by building up your upper body and legs. I would recommend getting some hand wraps as well to wrap your hands as gloves are not enough|||the ability to punch well. you needed to ask?|||dude you should join a gym.
