His two wins over Juan Manuel Marquez, two wins over Erik Morales, and two wins over Marco Antonio Barrera have proved that he is the best fighter in the world at this weight class. However, this many wars will wear on any fighter and moving up in weight poses considerable questions to his future success as Manny will have lost a little bit of both speed and punching power.
In David Diaz we have a fighter that, other than fighting Erik Morales, hasn%26#039;t fought big names. However, he has shown great stamina and boxing skills in the lightweight division.
This been said, I think the fight will be a tough fight for both. My predictions: David Diaz wins on a split decision. Manny%26#039;s punching power and speed will be diminished. Either way, this fight will be great for all boxing fans!!!|||Although Pacquiao has had to move up a weight class and Diaz is seasoned at Lightweight, I believe Manny will be too fast and too powerful for Diaz. I personally think Pacman will win (not because I%26#039;m a Filipino) cause in the past few years I have seen his improvement in his fighting skills, as opposed to the skills he had in his earlier years which is basically throwing his left punch.
